2. Website access and hosting

Accessing a website involves processing technical connection data. This may include your IP address, access date and time, requested URL, HTTP status, data volume, browser and operating system details and, where applicable, referrer information. Processing serves website delivery, troubleshooting and protection against misuse. The intended legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website.

This website is hosted on Vercel. The data protection settings and contractual details still need confirmation. Vercel may process personal data outside the EU or EEA. Before production use, the applicable data processing agreement, subprocessors and safeguards for any international transfers must be checked and specifically identified here. To be confirmed: contracting entity and provider address, actual log data and deletion periods, enabled hosting services, recipients and transfer safeguards. No unverified retention period is promised.

3. Contact by email, telephone or post

When you contact us, we process the information you provide, such as your name, contact details, company and enquiry, to handle your request and communicate with you. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies where processing concerns a contract with you or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Other enquiries are handled under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is responding appropriately and conducting business communications.

Providing information is voluntary. Without sufficient contact details and information about your request, we may be unable to respond. Access should be restricted to the people handling your request and necessary IT or communications providers. Disclosure to other recipients requires an appropriate legal basis.

The website currently has no online contact form. Email links open your email application and telephone links open your device’s calling function. Clicking a link alone does not send us a message.

Email services are provided through ITR Service GmbH. To be confirmed: subprocessors, data processing arrangements, any international transfers and internal deletion periods. This website draft does not separately cover job applications; additional applicant privacy information may be required.

4. Retention

Personal data should be retained only as long as required for its purpose. Once an enquiry has been resolved, the data should be deleted unless legal retention obligations or legitimate grounds require further storage. Contract and business records may be subject to statutory retention periods. Retention for legal claims depends on the claim and applicable limitation periods. The company’s and hosting provider’s specific deletion rules must be confirmed before publication.

5. Cookies, analytics and embedded content

The reviewed website build contains no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, embedded maps, videos, social media plugins or newsletter service. Fonts and images are served from the website files. The website’s own code does not set cookies or use local storage or session storage. Any additional cookies or security features introduced by the eventual hosting configuration must be checked before publication. This notice will need to reflect any subsequent changes.

6. Your rights

Subject to the statutory conditions, you may request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, restriction of processing and data portability (Articles 15–20 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time for the future without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Right to object: Where processing relies on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. We must then stop processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds overriding your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. You may object to direct marketing at any time.

You may also complain to a supervisory authority, particularly in the country of your habitual residence, place of work or an alleged infringement. 7. Automated decisions and security

The current website code contains no profiling or automated decision-making functions producing legal or similarly significant effects. The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Please do not send particularly sensitive information unsolicited by unencrypted email.

8. Outstanding details before publication

The hosting and communications providers, contracts, recipients, international transfers and deletion periods must be confirmed, together with whether a data protection officer has been appointed or must be appointed. Contact details will be added if applicable. Changes to forms, analytics or external services require a further revision of this draft.
